Censis University Ranking 2026/2027

For the third consecutive year, the University of Padua has been ranked as Italy’s top large public university in the 2026/2027 Censis University Ranking, among universities with more than 40,000 students.
This outstanding achievement reflects what Rector Daniela Mapelli described as “the result of the collective work of an entire community.”

The Department of Economics and Management also confirms its position among Italy’s leading institutions in the field of economics, achieving excellent results both for the quality of its academic programmes and for the international dimension of its educational offer.

In the Master's Degree category, the University of Padua’s Economics area ranks second in Italy with 105 points and achieves first place nationwide for International Relations, with 110 points.

In the Bachelor's Degree category, the Economics area ranks joint third in Italy with 101.5 points, alongside the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

These results reflect the quality of the education provided, the Department’s ability to attract and develop international opportunities for students, and the daily commitment of its academic staff, researchers, technical and administrative staff, and students.

This recognition confirms the strength of dSEA’s academic programmes and its ability to prepare graduates capable of addressing the economic, social and environmental challenges of an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world.
