EQUIS Accreditation

The Department of Economics and Management "Marco Fanno" of the University of Padua, Italy, is proud to be the first Department of an Italian public university to achieve the prestigious EQUIS – EFMD Quality Improvement System – accreditation. This seal of excellence places it among the top 1% of Business Schools.

“Achieving the EQUIS accreditation - says the Head of the Department, Prof. Paola Valbonesi - provided us with the opportunity to evaluate our Department against international benchmarks of excellence. This recognition acknowledges the high quality and professional relevance of our education programs and research endeavours and motivates all members of the Department to keep working together to pursue excellence in research, teaching, and knowledge transfer to society".

“EQUIS accreditation is a guarantee of quality for the Department - says the Associate Dean for Accreditation, Prof. Giacomo Boesso - and it will allow us to continue to offer high education that is research-driven and committed to addressing key societal challenges, with a specific focus on sustainable models and practices that create an impact beyond academia”.
