We are pleased to welcome Professor Mahmoud M. Sabra, Associate Professor of Economics at the Al-Azhar University–Gaza, who will take part in a research project within the Scholars at Risk program.
This initiative is part of a broader effort by the University of Padua to support students and researchers from Gaza through humanitarian corridors and scholarships.

 “I look forward to further strengthening my research competencies and contributing to the vibrant academic environment of the Department of Economics at the University of Padua. This collaboration represents a valuable opportunity to engage with both the Italian and international research communities and to advance my work in applied development economics, with a particular focus on environmental economics in the Mediterranean region.
