Additional Learning Requirements (OFA)
What are the 'Additional Learning Requirements' (OFA)?
To enroll in the Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Governance and Decision-Making (EGDM), students are expected to have some basic knowledge in specific subjects. The verification of such knowledge is carried out through the CEnT-S test.
If the test specifically reveals a gap in Mathematic knowledge, students can still enroll in the programme but they will be required to complete Additional Learning Requirements (OFA) during their first year of study.
When is the OFA in Mathematics assigned?
The OFA in Mathematics is assigned when the student answers correctly to less than 5 questions in the Mathematics section of the CEnT-S test.
How to fulfil the OFA?
After the enrollment, the OFA in Mathematics can be fulfilled in one of the following ways:
• Before classes begin: the student can take the CEnT-S test again and answer correctly to at least 5 questions in the Mathematics section by August 2026.
• After classes begin: the student can pass the Mathematics OFA fulfilment test organised by the Degree Programme. Information about the study materials and the test procedure will be available at the start of the academic year.
OFA and enrolment in the following years
The OFA in Mathematics must be fulfilled before the beginning of the 2nd Academic Year, by September 30. If the OFA in Mathematics is not fulfilled by this deadline, it will not be possible to enroll in the second year of the programme. In this case, the student will be enrolled again in the first year without the possibility to sit in the second year’s exams.
