  EGDM Presentation

The Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Governance and Decision-Making (EGDM) is a programme that integrates philosophy, political science, economics, and law. Its goal is to train graduates who are able to: understand and use the languages of the social sciences; develop critical analysis and problem-solving skills; assess the ethical implications of decisions; and interpret and address complex issues from different, complementary perspectives.

The EGDM programme is:

  • International: it is taught entirely in English, open to students with qualifications obtained abroad, and aligned with PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) programmes offered worldwide.

  • Innovative: it adopts innovative teaching methods that prioritize the use of digital technologies and active student participation, both in person and online. It also includes seminars and discussion activities open to all students.

  • Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary: students acquire skills across multiple fields (philosophy, political science, economics, law, statistics and mathematics) and apply them to develop innovative solutions.

EGDM is a limited access programme with a maximum of 180 places (150 places for EU and Equated candidates, 30 places for NON-EU residing outside of Italy candidates), allocated through an entry test and verification of language requirements.

The EGDM degree programme provides access to a wide range of Master’s degree programmes in Italy and abroad.
