Siamo lieti di dare il benvenuto al Professor Mahmoud M. Sabra, Professore Associato di Economia presso l'Università Al-Azhar di Gaza, che parteciperà a un progetto di ricerca nell'ambito del programma Scholars at Risk.

Questa iniziativa fa parte di un più ampio sforzo dell'Università di Padova per sostenere studenti e ricercatori di Gaza attraverso corridoi umanitari e borse di studio.

 “I look forward to further strengthening my research competencies and contributing to the vibrant academic environment of the Department of Economics at the University of Padua. This collaboration represents a valuable opportunity to engage with both the Italian and international research communities and to advance my work in applied development economics, with a particular focus on environmental economics in the Mediterranean region. In addition, I will be involved in teaching activities within the Master’s courses related to the economics of innovation. Moreover, I hope that this collaboration will pave the way for future academic partnerships between the University of Padua and my home institution, as well as with other universities in Palestine, fostering mutual exchange and long-term cooperation.”
