Companies

The Stage & Placement Service supports companies and institutions in the recruitment and hiring of students and graduates for internships and job opportunities.

They assist our partners throughout the entire process: from identifying the recruitment area and publishing the internship proposal to selecting candidates' Curriculum Vitae and formalizing the agreement.

Through these methods, the Stage & Placement Service acts as a tool for actively integrating graduates into the professional world, facilitating their career aspirations by connecting them directly with companies and identifying the specific needs of our partners.

In collaboration with companies and our alumni network, the department organizes seminars, classroom meetings, testimonials, and recruiting activities to maintain an active dialogue between the professional and academic worlds.

  What is an internship?

An internship is a temporary educational and professional experience, with characteristics and duration depending on its goals.

It is intended for students during their academic career (curricular internship), recent graduates within 12 months of obtaining their degree (extracurricular internship), and unemployed graduates (placement internship).

Internships can be carried out in companies, public institutions, and professional offices, both in Italy and abroad. Depending on the degree course regulations, internships may be mandatory or optional.

What are the advantages for companies?

Internships provide a recruitment opportunity for institutions and companies to identify potential new talents. Interns bring technological and scientific expertise, innovative ideas, creativity, and enthusiasm.

  Who are the parties involved?

An internship involves three parties: the intern, the university, and the host institution or company.

The academic tutor (or a professor designated by the Stage & Placement Service) and the company tutor, who guide and support the Intern in their assigned tasks, also participate in the training experience.

What documents are needed to start an internship?

Training Agreement: A "framework" agreement between the university and the host institution.
Training Project: This document outlines the methods, duration, and activities of the internship and is jointly defined by the host institution, the tutor, and the intern.
