The aim of this workshop  is to analyse the most recent theoretical contributions dedicated to the study of the dynamics industrial districts/cluster,  using the perspective of  districts/clusters globalisation.  The issues put at the attention will be both theoretical and empirical:

1. MNEs growth in industrial districts/clusters
2. The re-organization of the global supply chain and the processes of back-shoring
3. Firms birth and spin-off in industrial districts/clusters
4. The technological transfer from university to firms
5. The adoption of  regional smart-spec  policies
6. Creativity and innovation in industrial districts/clusters
