MAE - Entry requirements (Italian degree holders - regardless of citizenship)

  Academic and language requirements

Information and deadlines are available in the "Avviso di ammissione".

1.  Entry title

A bachelor’s degree (or a three-year university diploma, or a single cycle Degree) obtained in the italian education system:

a) A bachelor’s degree belonging to class L-18 (Scienze dell’economia e della gestione aziendale) and L-33 (Scienze economiche) former DM 270/2004 or class 17 (Scienze dell’economia e della gestione aziendale) and 28 (Scienze economiche) former DM 509/1999

Or, alternatively,

b) A bachelor's degree not belonging to the classes mentioned above and at least 50 CFU/ECTS registered in the following fields (SSD: Settori Scientifici Disciplinari) at the date of pre-enrolment application:

SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/03, SECS-P/05, SECS-P/06, SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SECS-P/09, SECS-P/10, SECS-P/11
SECS-S/01, SECS-S/03, SECS-S/04, SECS-S/ 05, SECS-S/06

MAT/05, MAT/06, MAT/08, MAT/09

AGR/01, ICAR/05, ICAR/22

ING-IND/17, ING-IND/35, ING-INF/05, INF/01

The sum of the required 50 CFU may be covered by all or only some of the mentioned SSD.

OFA (obblighi formativi aggiuntivi) are not accepted.

CFU on specific mentioned SSD can be obtained also through single courses. 

2. B2 level English knowledge (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - CEFR)

The English language requirement can be fulfilled by one of the following options:

  • Being a native English-speaking (check the requirements in the "Avviso di Ammissione" )
  • English language certificate (check this link for accepted certificates – see “tabella delle certificazioni”). Only certificates obtained no more than five years before the application date are accepted
  • 12 CFU belonging to the previous career (bachelor) achieved in teaching provided in English
  • An exam or eligibility recorded in the student's career clearly attesting the English level attained (B2 or higher)
  • An English certification issued by a CLA (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo) not present in the student's career and obtained no more than five years before the application date (pre-immatricolazione) - level B2 or higher

Language requirements must be met by the application date (pre-immatricolazione).

  Admission

If candidate’s exam weighted average* is equal to or greater than 25/30: no admission interview is required (the candidate can proceed with direct enrollment)

If candidate’s exam weighted average* is lower than 25/30: candidate need to pass the interview to be admitted
