Available to supervise PhD students with interest in management control functioning and effectiveness and in the analysis of sustainability issues integration (e.g. water, climate change and greenhouse gas emission, employee health and safety, food security) and stakeholders’ instances into organisational control mechanisms, accounting and reporting.

 


 

Amedeo Pugliese  

Amedeo's research interests span across different areas of corporate governance and financial accounting. I am especially keen on supervising candidates with an interest in carrying out research in the following areas: (1) the effects of (accounting) regulation on banks' stability and profitability; (2) board of directors' responses to crisis and environmental disruption (italian data only), and (3) design and enforcement of accounting rules as a relief mechanism post crisis. Amedeo favors any methodology as long as it is done at its best.
